Embedded data
When an object (such as a chart or graph) is EMBEDDED in a document, the source data, in addition to the object, is contained in the destination document. The embedded data is edited separately in the source and destination documents; updates to the data in the original document ARE NOT reflected in the embedded data. The embedded object is kept separate from the original object.
